VICE published a great piece on why people in the US are dying and getting sick from vaping, and why it's simply not happening in the UK. It all comes down to public health policy. The UK's NHS still stands strong behind their claim that vaping is 95% safer than smoking combustible tobacco.
Hopefully our great country will follow their lead and make reasonable, effective regulations based on evidence, and with harm reduction as the main objective. As with any other "war on drugs" blanket prohibition, the end result will be a push to the black market, unregulated e-liquid, and even the return to traditional cigarettes.
We still strongly feel that properly regulated, properly manufactured e-liquid is a wonderful harm reduction tool to help adult smokers move away from combustible tobacco and improve their health.
